The number of participants is limited to 12. Students will be admitted on a first-come-first-served basis. We advise early application. Students are entitled to 4 individual lessons; it is highly recommended that students attend each other’s lessons.

Arrival of participants is on Sunday August 5 2018. Students are invited to attend the opening concert of the festival that night; artist is the young pianist Pavel Kolesnikov. Class starts on Monday morning (August 6) in the hall of the Kapuzinerkloster. Practice grand pianos are also located at the Kapuzinerkloster. The Kawai EX concert grand is the official piano of the festival. Students will be featured in concert at the final master class recital on Friday August 17. Audience prizes will be awarded. Departure from Cochem is on Saturday August 18 before noon. Special arrangements can be made for those wishing to stay for John Perry’s recital on Sunday August 19.

Students from overseas most likely fly into Frankfurt airport. Cochem can be reached by a 2 hour train ride with a change of trains in Koblenz.
